Error massages in effectus
Hi,
I tried to compile an Action!-Programm with effectus.
I think there are some errors in my code, and i want to fix them.
But the massage given by effectus is not helpful,
i can't see where (in which line) the error occured and what was the reason for the error.
So what can i do?
Is the development of effectus still in progress?

Re: Error massages in effectus
Hi, rost
I am very, very sorry for my late reply. I had some life issues going on and there was no time for anything else. To answer your question about Effectus... Of course it is still developed. It was just delayed for some time and I hope to return back with new development very soon.
Can you please send me source listing of the code you mentioned? I am sorry, but for now Effectus does not show the line where error occurs. You will get information only on resulting assembler listing created by MADS cross compiler.
Hear from you,
Gury

Re: Error massages in effectus
Heck, where has my post gone, which I wrote a couple days ago?
Anyway - once again...
I tried to debug a very large program. (to large to fit in the editor an to compile from them - so i had to compile from disk - very awful for debuging.) So I gave effectus a try, but unfortunaly there where no error messages...
But nevertheless a few questions about effectus:
At which state is the program ?
Do i need to include a Action!-Runtime?
Is the genereted code similar to the Code from the Action!-compiler?
I think Effectus needs Errormessages to be a substitute for Action!.
But for bigger programs it could become really helpful.
